Shop opening hours and new payment card facility
Asda and Marks & Spencer have launched a new shopping card to help the elderly, vulnerable and those self isolating to have their shopping collected by volunteers safely without the need to hand over cash or debit cards.
Some shop opening times for NHS and Elderly
-Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, for an hour between 9am and 10am, the elderly and vulnerable will be given priority.
-Every Sunday , NHS staff will be given an hour ahead of normal opening times.
-Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, between 8am and 9am, the elderly, disabled and their carers will be given priority.
-From Monday to Saturday, NHS and Social workers can do their shopping from 7.30am to 8.00am.
-For the elderly and vulnerable, check with your local stores
-Every Monday, Wednesday and Fridat, between 8am and 9am for NHS workers.
-No specific times for the elderly or Vulnerable
- NHS staff can shop between 7am and 8am every day accept Sunday.
